ArtEgg Studios is a 50,000 sq. ft. former produce warehouse for American Beauty Eggs, Butter and Turkeys. Located in the Broad Street Cultural Products District in New Orleans, ArtEgg was founded in 2001 by Dr. Esther R. Dyer. Since inception, ArtEgg has been a creative space for creative people. Devastated after Katrina, ArtEgg was totally renovated, restored and upgraded to include sustainable design features such as bamboo flooring, solar tracking skylights, solar tubes, energy efficient fixtures. The first floor has intact produce coolers converted to storage for art collections, studios for artists and musicians, workshops for set builders, and offices for nonprofits and entrepreneurs. They are proud to be home to Break Out!, Kids Rethink New Orleans, Roots of Music, Women of Vision, the LGBT Community Center, the Change for Development Foundation and the Heritage Foundation for Arts and Cultural Sustainability.
We started helping ArtEgg while in New Orleans in 2006. We helped them move to a Joomla Website using 3 templates for three different programs all in the same website. We have also helped them with finding new hosting, some training and on-site tech support work.
In 2020 we migrated the site from Joomla to WordPress using Elementor.
