Our full plan with phone/Skype support
We partner with those who would like to maintain their own website, but don’t have the experience with all setup and code required to customize. We let you handle the content and then contact us anytime you have a question. This plan is for those who are comfortable logging in and working with the content, but maybe don’t know how to add menu items or change the theme. We will either teach you how to do these things, or just take care of them if that is what you prefer.
Any website is vulnerable to attack by malware. This means that what is called a “bot” has a mission to find a specific vulnerability in your website. This might be an out of date plugin, a theme that needs updating or some other way to gain access to the inner working of your website. Sometimes it can even turn your website into a tool for attacking your visitors computer or other websites. With all of our plans we will keep you safe from these attacks by keeping everything protected and then backed up daily just in case something happens.
Plan Details:
Contact us anytime via email, phone or Skype. We will set up an initial phone or Skype call to discuss initial plans for your site. After that you can contact us anytime by email, or set up a time for us to call or Skype. If we don’t know the answer to a question or request, we will do the research, or contact specific support for themes or plugins for you. We give you the go-to for all your website questions rather than you having to try and figure out who to contact.
We will monitor in real time for website outages. If it is something we can fix, we will attempt to do so. If it is a problem with your own hosting provider we will let you know to contact them. If you are using our recommended provider, we will contact them for you.
We purchase various tools and plugins in bulk, so rather than having our clients pay for each of these items we include those prices in your plan.
We will update all core files of WordPress, plugins and themes. We will update plugins at least weekly and site updates immediately after release. We perform a backup prior to making and important updates.
Whenever you are ready for a new look, we can help you find and install new thems (or templates). We will help you migrate so that your content will remain intact and look great in the new theme.
Sites receive spam, and although we cannot stop it all and still allow people to add comments to your website, we will do our best to block spam comments and remove them from your site. Of course we recommend you approve all comments on your site, however we will take care of virtually all of the spam, leaving you with only genuine comments to approve if you desire.
Most sites have links, both internal and to external resources. We will monitor these links and if something changes we will either fix it for you, or contact you to see if you would like to update or remove it.
We can produce an optional monthly report about your daily site backups, site and plugin updates completed, site protection security statistics and performance. Please let us know if you would like this service enabled.
We will install Google Analytics tracking code and help you set up your account. We also set up Google Search Console (formerly Webmaster Tools). After that we can help you understand all of the data available to track your site visitors from where they came from to what they do while they are on your site.
We will also make recommendations on improving your content to improve your search results and work out a plan for ongoing improvement.
Does your organization need (or need to improve) your email system? We can help you choose a provider that meets your needs as well as set up email accounts, aliases and groups. We remain ready if you add a new staff person, or have special email needs for your organization. We have certification in Google G-Suite management.
We can help you set up a e-newsletter. This includes recommending service, template design, creating vibrant content and working with your email list to maximize your open and click rates as well as tracking results of campaigns and A/B campaign testing. We will also help you set up an email signup form or popup on your site if desired.
Via phone or Skype (or in person if you are willing to cover travel expenses), we can set up a time for training. Whether this be you, or members of your staff, we can help you with all aspects of keeping your site vibrant and up-to-date. We have a scheduling system you you can easily select a time that works best for you and your team.
